How to resize images for Meesho

Resize listing photos to 1080×1440 (3:4) the right way — keep the product centered, avoid stretch, and export a Meesho-ready JPEG.

What size should Meesho product images be?

A practical Meesho-ready size is 1080×1440 pixels — 1080 wide and 1440 tall. That is a 3:4 portrait ratio, which fits catalog listings better than a wide phone photo.

Always check Supplier Panel if your category shows a different rule. When no special size is listed, 1080×1440 is a safe default used by many Indian sellers and by ImageReady.

Resize without stretching the product

Never force a square or landscape photo into 3:4 by dragging it out of shape. Stretching makes kurtis look longer, bottles look fatter, and buyers lose trust.

The correct approach is crop + pad: trim unused space, keep the product’s real proportions, then place it on a white 1080×1440 canvas with even margins.

  • Keep original aspect of the product itself
  • Crop empty edges first
  • Pad with white if the frame needs height or width
  • Center the product in the final canvas

Step-by-step: resize for Meesho in your browser

You do not need Photoshop. Use a free Meesho image resizer that works on your phone or laptop:

  • Open ImageReady.in/optimize/
  • Upload your JPG, PNG, or WEBP product photo
  • Run Quick Optimize to generate 1080×1440 versions
  • Pick the frame that shows the product true-to-size
  • Download the JPEG and upload it in Meesho Supplier Panel

Phone photo tips before you resize

A blurry original stays blurry after resize. Shoot in good light, hold the phone steady, and fill most of the frame with the product before you crop.

Portrait orientation helps. If you only have a landscape shot, resize tools can still reframe it — but a portrait source usually looks cleaner.

After resizing: what to check

Open the downloaded file and confirm the dimensions are 1080×1440. Preview it on your phone screen the way a buyer would see it in the Meesho app.

Then upload in Supplier Panel and review the live listing. If shipping looks off after a big framing change, confirm the charge in Meesho — photos help size look honest, but Meesho sets the real slab.
